- 8 cups bread crumbs
- 2 cups hot water
- 2 tbsp. poultry seasoning
- 2 tbsp. chicken soup base (no noodles) or 3 Oxo cubes, crumbled.
- 2 eggs
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 1 pkg. turkey giblets
- 2 tsp. butter or margarine
Mince giblets, put in small frypan with butter and brown. Add onions and cook until onions are clear and soft.
Put breadcrumbs, eggs and poultry seasoning in large bowl. Mix well. Add giblets and onions. Mix well. Add chicken soup base or Oxo cubes to hot water and stir in completely. Pour over bread crumbs/cubes and mix well.
Stuff turkey loosely. Place remaining stuffing and neck onto a square of tin foil, wrap securely and place next to turkey in roasting pan.
